Dr. Harwood was born and raised in Fairhope and it has always been her goal to return home to practice. Dr. Harwood attended Auburn University for undergrad before studying abroad at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine to pursue her veterinary degree. She then returned to Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine to complete her clinical training before graduating with the class of 2022. Dr. Harwood’s special interests include canine reproduction and sports medicine.

In her free time Dr. Harwood enjoys spending time on the water and training her dogs. She has three Boykin Spaniels; Mallie, Saige and Sibley and a yellow lab named Red that she competes in hunt tests and field trials with all over the Southeast. She serves as the President of the Gulf Coast Boykin Spaniel Club and has become very involved with the retriever world.
